Kochi – The US owner was shocked when he received an electricity bill of five thousand rupees for a locked house in Nadu. When I filed a complaint with KSEB, the reply was that the bill was for the electricity used and there was no mistake.

When he finally left the man and investigated, he found a group of people who broke the lock of the house and entered the house. Ajith Vasudevan, who lives in the US, lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner after finding that some people had trespassed and lived in his house on Vyatila Janata Road.

Ajith says that the illegal stay was discovered when his friends in Chilavannur were sent to their home after the electricity bill was higher for two months.

The investigation revealed that after breaking the lock of the gate and the house, after entering inside, the house was painted, construction work was done inside and the wall was built and then it was rented out to several people. An investigation conducted by the locals including the local councilor found that a person named Suresh Babu, a native of Arur, was behind the violence.

About 30 people, including students and their families, are living in the two-storey house. Each room in the house is separated by wooden and concrete walls and has been rented out to so many people.

The investigation of the locals and Ajith’s friends revealed that Suresh Babu had rented out the house to several people so that he could get a monthly rent of Rs. When Suresh Babu was found and searched, he replied that he had entrusted the house to look after him.

However, Ajit Vasudevan, the owner of the house and the complainant, informed that what Suresh Babu is saying is false. Suresh Babu has not been given any responsibility of the house by himself or his relatives. The key of the gate of the house was in the possession of the neighbor, but he was not instructed to hand it over to anyone.

The police said that Suresh Babu, who broke into the non-resident’s house and caused damage and rented it out, will be arrested soon. The investigation is in progress. The Maradu police informed that the illegal residents of the house have been asked to vacate the house today.
